Okay friends!! This is another great one!

SHORT AND SWEET BUT VITAL!

I get a lot of questions about this topic and I go into it deeper in the actual course once launched, but we are going to answer some of those questions right now!

So, we are going to determine who your course is intended for and what you hope they gain from it. This will help you tailor your content and approach accordingly. To do this, you need to research your niche so that you can actually figure out who your target audience will be.

Once you have identified what your course is going to be about, it’s time to dive deeper into their needs and preferences of what your target audience might be looking for.

There are a couple of things you can do here. You can send out survey and get data off of it. You can research the internet. Or you can do one of my favorites:

Create your avatar.

Okay, I know you might be thinking, what the heck is an avatar??

Well… it is the character you would want to sell to!

Some people call it, the Ideal Customer or Ideal Persona, but either way it is important that you create your avatar. I feel that too many people let this little gem slip away!

If you are in the 7-DAY BLOG EMAIL SERIES, you will have the 2 attached templates for your avatar questions & workbook. You will answer those to create your ideal customer or avatar. You can copy and paste to a word document so that you can edit and keep with you as a reminder!

Once you've answered these questions, review your answers and use them to create a profile of your ideal customer. This profile should include demographic information as well as psychographic information, such as interests, values, and beliefs.

Once you create your avatar, use this profile to guide your marketing efforts, from the language you use in your marketing materials to the channels you use to reach your target audience.

You are trying to reach those people that you created! So speak to them through your marketing strategies!

You will also have my own personal avatar that I use. It is based on a real person and a true story so it made it easy for me to build mine, but you can see what it looks like to create your avatar. (Again, this is if you signed up for the email version!)

At the end of the day, you are wanting that fictional (or real) representation of your ideal customer. By creating an avatar, you can better understand the needs, wants, and pain points of your target audience. This allows you to tailor your course, marketing messages, products, and services to better meet the needs of your customers. It also helps to identify potential customers who may not have been previously considered!

YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE SELLNG TO THIS PERSON! WHAT DO THEY NEED? WHAT DO THEY WANT? HOW CAN YOU HELP THEM WITH YOUR SERVICE?

Alright, I hope you found today's lesson helpful! Go create that ideal customer & SEND IT TO ME! I want to know who you are going to sell to, and I will see you on our next lesson - Building your course!

Can't wait!
