Yay, it’s Day 4 and today I’m going to let you in on Developing your course idea! I am so happy you are hear! This can be fun, so don't make it complicated.

So, now you should have selected a topic (can also be called your niche) that you are knowledgeable and passionate about, or at least have some in mind that you want to pursue. It's essential to choose a subject that is relevant, engaging, and has value for your audience, so I hope that list helped! I enjoyed reading each of your ideas!! Thank you so much for sharing!

Now is the time to develop that course Idea that will sell! Now if you have NOT picked a topic, that is okay. No rush! One of the best ways to research what people want is to go online and see what people are looking for – what do they want to know more of? Go through Google, Pinterest, or even send out a survey to your peeps on Facebook or Instagram.

But at the end of the day...

you need to have a crystal-clear offer before you start your course!

Just in case you were not able to view the document or you didn’t get a chance to look, here are a few of those ideas that are some of the topmost searched results:

  • Digital Marketing

  • Health and Wellness

  • Personal Finance

  • Coding and Web Development

  • Creative Skills

  • Language courses

  • Coding courses

  • Business courses

  • Art courses

  • Cooking courses

  • Creating online courses

  • Photography courses

  • Writing courses

  • And many more!

Now let’s dive deeper into 1 of these, so you have a better idea of what a course could look like!

Let's say we use Digital Marketing as our niche. Well, digital marketing has a ton of topics that you can create a course off of! Creating a course that teaches the ins and outs of digital marketing, can include BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. How to use SEO

  2. How to start social media marketing

  3. The main ingredients to your email marketing

  4. 5 keys to affiliate marketing

  5. How to create digital courses

Discussing any of these would be great for your audience. Many are looking for courses on each so you could potentially have 5 courses right off the bat.

By covering any of these topics, your course(s) on digital marketing would provide a comprehensive overview of the field and equip students with the skills they need to succeed in the digital marketing industry.

Developing a course idea can be an exciting and challenging process. As I said, to start, it's important to identify your area of expertise and passion. Here are some tips to get you started:

  • Begin by identifying your area of expertise and passion

  • Consider what you enjoy teaching or discussing with others

  • Brainstorm topics and themes that align with your interests and expertise

Now, once you have a few potential course ideas, it's important to research the market and competition to ensure there is a demand for your course idea. Look for similar courses or programs and evaluate how you can differentiate your course from those already available.

Consider what unique value you can offer your audience that they can't find elsewhere. We are going to get into making an outline with the learning objectives and outcomes of the course on Day 6, but for now research and decide on your niche!

Make this fun!

I hope you are enjoying this series so far! I want you to succeed so take each step and do the homework. It’s important to get into the mindset of building this out. You want to build, grow, and then profit, so taking each step seriously will help you not only do just that, but add to it in the future - creating a business you will absolutely be proud of!

Let me know if you are you building your course around your passion or something else? Why did you decided to create a course? Can't wait to hear back!

Get ready for your next lesson - SO IMPORTANT - Identify your target audience.

Enjoy the journey,

Rachel
